A: You can add your friends for notification by clicking Notify Friend when viewing an itinerary  or selecting Notify a Friend on the TripChill main menu from an iPhone or Android device.

Q: Can I notify a friend via Twitter if they are already configured for email or text messaging within TripChill?

A: Yes, just like you associated an email address or mobile number to your friends’ contact information, TripChill has been enhanced to add their Twitter screen name. Click here and then click on your friends’ name. You will see a new tab called Twitter. Add their screen name and save your settings. Now, go view your itinerary and change your friends’ method of communication to Twitter. NOTE: To send private tweets, you must both be following each other.

TripChill can automatically notify your friends about your travel status over Twitter!

TripChill continues to improve your ability to stay connected with your friends while travelling by automatically sending tweets about your travel status from your Twitter account.

Like email and text messaging, you can now select Twitter as a method of communication to your friends*.

Real-time Monitoring will notify your friends about your current situation automatically so you can focus on business or other matters. TripChill assists you by gathering and sending the best information available to your friends over Twitter.

We notify your friends about the following situations:

  • Departed from airport

  • Arriving at airport

  • Flight cancelled

  • Flight diverted

  • Changed flights

  • Unplanned overnight stay

TripChill can update your status (all followers are notified) or tweet directly to your friends (private notification).

*Friends are required to have a Twitter account and must be following you.
